UNDERSTANDING THE TERM RECCE
You don’t have to be a soldier to subscribe to their values. Challenge yourself and find that “RECCE” in you. Being a RECCE is about being resilient. It is about mental and physical toughness so you can deal with adversity. To perform in adverse condition you need a mindset that encourages you to seek the challenge and drive the performance. The RECCE spirit is one of never say die, The RECCE mantra is one where we fear naught but GOD. You can only do this if you are prepared to stop complaining and take responsibility for yourself. Then you will learn to endure, to adapt, to accept responsibility for the outcome and to stay focused. Then you must prepare well, and train and train until you are in top condition.
Learn to stay in the moment – and to immerse yourself and hold nothing back.
Don’t give up.
Don’t complain.
Work hard continuously.
