ABOUT THE SF FOUNDATION

The SOUTH AFRICAN SPECIAL FORCES HERITAGE FOUNDATION – “SASFHF” – is a NPC (non-profit Company). All the shares are held by the RECCE HERITAGE TRUST. It was established to protect and preserve the soldiering legacy.

This includes the holding of physical assets to store and display appropriate history. It includes management of any trademarks or Intellectual property used to the benefit of the collective.

A current physical asset is a donated property in Pretoria. The intention is to establish a commercial operation on the property. There is provision for a memorial and a private terrain. The project is “Fort Recce”. It is a long-term project with a life span of several years.

The Intellectual assets of the Foundation are the Trademarks. The trademark – “RECCE” – and the operators badge are protected by registered trademarks. The use of these trademarks are regulated by Brand Use Agreements. The B.U.A. will set out the rules for use as well as the specific financial agreements.
