SANDF – 4 SPECIAL FORCES REGIMENT
4 Special Forces Regiment is based in Langebaan, Saldanha Bay, on the west coast north of Cape Town.
It provides South Africa its seaward Special Forces capability.
The unit was established at Langebaan in 1978.
The Regiment consists of three operational commandos (companies) as well as the Special Forces Amphibious and Urban School.
