On behalf of the South African Special Forces League and its members, I would like to thank our South African and international guests for taking the time to review our website.

We trust that the contents of the site have been informative and interesting, and have led to a better knowledge and understanding of the South African Special Forces community.

I would like to express the appreciation of the South African Special Forces League towards the South African Special Forces Brigade for its constant support and guidance.

I would also like to express the appreciation of the South African Special Forces League towards all its members who have assisted with the establishment of our website, and who have provided, or assisted with reviewing, much of the content.

Our appreciation is also extended to Messrs Matthew Kalkwarf, Michael Huxtable and Paul Matthyse, who assisted the League with the provision of many of their graphics and photographs, which they have painstakingly built up over years.

Finally, I would on behalf of the Special Forces League and all its members, like to express our gratitude and appreciation towards, and pride in, all those South African men and women who, through the years, have attempted the South African Special Forces Pre Selection, Selection and Basic Operators Training Cycle - and who have for one reason or another not been successful.

We would like to say that the fact that you were unsuccessful is a matter of no consequence whatsoever. The fact that you had the courage, strength of character, determination and will to even attempt this challenge is, in itself, an act worthy of the utmost respect, and should be a source of great pride to you and your families for the rest of your life. We are sure that with such a determined and courageous approach to life, you will have succeeded well in whatever you went on to do - and you should be assured that amongst us, you will always be highly regarded.

The South African Special Forces League welcomes comments on our site and its content, or on the South African Special Forces League or the South African Special Forces community. On our website, we have both a Guest Comment facility, as well as complete contact details for the League. Visitors should please feel welcome to make full use of these facilities to communicate to us any comments or enquiries that they may wish to. 

The South African Special Forces League website will be expanded and updated with further content, photos and graphics on a continuous basis.
